Adios to College Life !

Exactly 3 more days and its time to say adios to college life ... I'm going to miss college so much - my friends, the college campus, cultural activities, photocopying notes a day before exam, organizing events, staying back at college to study and writing exams. I cannot believe that I'll actually miss exams because that's one thing that every student hates but I'm going to miss it because I would not be writing exams any more after college ...

Campus life is special and being there for 5 years completing my Bachelors and Masters has taught me so much. I will never forget my college years, they have been one of the best years in my life. I have seen, learnt and experienced a lot!

Bidding farewell to college would be one of the hardest things to do but I have to say 'Goodbye' to my college, my teachers and my loving friends... College has moulded me into a responsible and an intellectual person. Not all are blessed with the golden opportunity to enjoy such an education. For those who've also got this beautiful opportunity, do enjoy college life to the maximum !!

I would like to conclude with this beautiful quote by John Dewey, his quote says it all ..

I'm ready to step out and face the challenges outside of college !!

Thank you God, teachers and friends for making my college life a wonderful experience. Last but not the least thank you mom and dad for making this happen!

Experience of being a Student Council Member !

Being a Student Union Council is a wonderful experience, I learnt the skill of multi- tasking and to be more responsible. It has thought me so much and one important thing that every leader should learn is to consider "every individual's opinion !"

I've developed qualities like patience, tolerance and compassion for others. Being a Student Council Member has given me the opportunity to meet so many people and serve as a positive role model to other students.

I'll be receiving my certificate for being the Student Council Member tomorrow, I'm so excited and I'm happy that I've fulfilled my responsibility !!

We have a Dream !

Rahul Bose's Dream @ OASIS, BITS Pilani was one of the most Inspiring speech that I've heard in a long time ! When I heard this speech on Youtube I commented on it saying that "It was a great speech and Keep it up ! " But I was compelled to write more because that one line of compliment was not doing justice.

So I decided to blog about Rahul Bose's dream @ OASIS, BITS Pilani ! Its thought- provoking, funny and makes you a proud Indian ! Rahul Bose has made efforts to instill in our minds that it is important to dream ! From the beginning to the end of the speech, it is so remarkable and makes us visualize the future of our Country!

One of the best part of his speech is that when we realize that we are all the same, then the choice will be ours !! To turn to the foreigner on our side and say "We are 1.2 Billion, the world is 6 Billion, that's one Indian for every 4 non- Indians" and we'll turn to the rest of us and say "Sound's good, Let's do it !"

So it is important for each one of us to dream and make things happen !! Do watch the video because it will definitely make you THINK !!

Speak Up !!!

"Do we really have the rights to SPEAK UP ?"

So many people around tell us to speak up and communicate our thoughts but it makes me think how much can we actually speak up ! There are so many instances where I want to speak my mind but there are so many constraints like "Will it affect the person who is involved?" or "Will it be accepted by the society?" and so on... I mean why do we have to go through all this !

So its high time we take our stand and communicate, so let's share all our thoughts together.

So lets "SPEAK UP !!" :)
